Welcome to ContentKit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ContentKit application and website ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

ContentKit is a personal content management tool that allows creators to draft, schedule, and publish short-form videos to their own third-party social media accounts (including TikTok) using official APIs and OAuth-based authentication. ContentKit is operated by an individual developer as a personal project.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction and by the connected platforms) to use the Service. By using ContentKit, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account and Connected Platforms

• You are responsible for connecting only accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
• You must comply with the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines of every third-party platform you connect, including TikTok.
• You authorize ContentKit to access only the scopes you explicitly grant during the OAuth flow.
• You may revoke access at any time from the connected platform's settings.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ContentKit to:

• Post content that violates applicable laws or the policies of any connected platform.
• Upload content you do not own or have permission to publish.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
• Engage in spam, harassment, impersonation, or automated inauthentic behavior.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service.

5. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to content you upload or publish through ContentKit. ContentKit does not claim any ownership over your content. By using the Service, you grant ContentKit a limited, revocable license to process and transmit your content solely for the purpose of publishing it to the platforms you have connected.

6. Third-Party Platforms

ContentKit integrates with third-party services such as TikTok. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms. ContentKit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or any other third-party platform.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or error-free operation. Features may change or be discontinued at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContentKit and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, account suspension by third-party platforms, or lost revenue, arising out of your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using ContentKit at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service in a way that could harm users or connected platforms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
